Joseph is getting so BIG!!! He just hit the 6 month mark last week and went in for his check up and shots. He was 19 lbs 8 oz. Dr. Jones said a week or two max until it's time to bump him up for the new carseat. He is proving so far to be our easiet. A real go with the flow kinda kid. Loved the pool last week. Enjoyed the fireworks this weekend. Lights up when talked to and very easily entertains himself when we can't quite get to him fast enough. The kids adore him. We are just so thankful everyday for healthy happy kids.
Saturday Night Fireworks
Sophie (or as Ava calls her Fofie) & Ava watching the fireworks display Saturday night at the block party.
Gone with the Wind
The balloon Ryan picked out at the grocery store for behaving started to sag a little and we decided it would be fun to put his name and address on it in hopes of finding a new pen pal. Little did I know he would be crying an hour later saying it wasn't such a good idea and he misses that old balloon.

2007 Summer T Ball Team
The kids really enjoyed playing T Ball for Coach Aaron Williams. They had a lot of fun and played with a great group of kids. Ava always looked forward to playing with Callie & Ellen. Can't wait until next year. Thank you Aaron & Sandy!!

Finally catching a lightening bug.
Ava caught this bug and named her Sarah. Then she caught Sara's brother and named him Luke. Her next victim was Sara & Luke's mother that she named Princess. She caught a few more after that, but we lost track. Up until a few weeks ago, her wild and creative imagination would have named them lightening bug #1, #2, & #3.

Rain or Shine
The roads were a little wet when we left to meet Sandy & the kids at the Zoo. We had a great time with the kids and had a relaxing picinic lunch!! There is always something to do at the zoo.

Big Sis
Thanks for the fish. Tommy loved it. As I am blogging this, Tommy just said "Good fish, wasn't it??" I will have to get the name of the batter again before I hit the grocery store, OR I could just send him over on the nights you cook it. Thanks a million.
Bird Watching
Ava is trying to convince Grandpa to help her catch a bird. I think they both got a kick out of each other.
Shh, I'm hunting wabbits
This seems a little too scary too soon. Tommy got out the bebe gun and the boys did a little target practice. Ryan's wheels were turning. On the way home from Grandma & Grandpa's Ryan asked to put a bebe gun on his Xmas list. Then he asked how far away Xmas was and started whining when I said 6 months. I am sure we will talk about this for many months to come. Thanks Tommy.
We love our grandparents!!
Happy 60th Birthday Grandpa Hughes!! We had a great afternoon with water games, a yummy cook out, and spending precious time with family. Thank you gma & gpa for always thinking of us. We appreciate the times you pick us up for Sunday drives, mornings full of yard work, and fork lift rides at the carpet store. We always try to be on our best behavior. We can't wait to spend many more birthdays together!! xoxo the Hughes family
White Lightening!!
Kaleb won the slip & slide races consistently!! He slid down the slide like a little rocket. I am sure the kids will get more competitive the older they get. It's enjoyable to watch their personalities blossom!!

Brotherly Love
I know I just blogged a family picture of the three kids, but I thought this was adorable. Ryan LOVES Joseph and really enjoyes talking to him & entertaining him. He loves sharing a bedroom and frequently tells Ava to get out of his "Boys Only" room. They were good at the grocery store the other day and I let the kids pick out jammies. Ava, of course picked out a disney jammie dress with ruffles. Ryan picked out Lighting McQueen jammies and made sure it came in a small enough size for Joseph & him to match. So precious. xoxo
Quilt Coop
Helping Grandma at the Quilt Coop is always so much fun. Grandma gives us lots of projects. Ava was too busy for the picture. She was in the middle of stringing buttons, beads & jingle bells to make a necklace!!
