Summer 2008

Our summer has been so crazy. I have had a hard time keeping up with pictures and blogging. School starts tomorrow and Ryan and Ava will be going to St. Alberts together. Ryan played baseball the beginning of summer with alot of boys from his class. They had a really great season and his games were all at the bus barn just a few minutes from our house. Tommy and I golfed quite a bit this summer on a couples leage in Glenwood. Tommy drives the cart like Mario Andretti. CRAZY!!! We met alot of great couples and are looking forward to golfing again next year.
Abby & Rob suprised us with baby Ella Viola at the end of July. Abby has had lots of family visit Atlanta and we are so excited to see them! Ryan lost his first tooth this summer and has a very very loose one on its way out. This has been the summer of sleepovers. The kids have enjoyed having their friends play and sleepover all summer. Our house has been full! Mallory's last day was friday. The kids were sad, but she is watching Ryan & Ava again next summer. Mallory and Ava are regular customers at Hobby Lobby. Our house is full of Art projects!!
We were able to take the older kids to adventureland this summer. Grandma Jody was happy to keep Joseph with the help of Aunt Jacque. Thank you guys so much. It was really enjoyable to be able to ride rides with the kids and not have to push a stroller around!! The kids loved the Tornado (roller coaster), Tommy not so much. We stayed at the park all day, swam at the hotel pool that evening and shopped nearby in the morning. We are looking forward to school starting and will be posting pics soon!!

You're SAFE!!!

Joseph is running away from the kids as fast as he can. He can only take so much sprinkler to the face!!!! The kids have had a relaxing summer and we can't believe the July 4th holiday has already passed us. We are so thankful for MALLORY!!! The older kids have been able to enjoy trips to the zoo, children's museum and the library. We finished up with swim lessons last week. Ryan is now able to jump off the diving board and swim to the end of the pool!!! One less thing to worry about. Our summer is going fast. We are trying to squeeze in a few more sleepovers before school starts. Tommy confirmed today that he would make the trip to Adventureland before school starts. WOO HOO!! The kids are estatic. We are so thankful for our health, friends and family. Hope everyone is having a great summer. Take care!!!

New Trees!!

The kids have enjoyed watching Don Duysen plant trees and dig holes with his tree spade truck. The sunny warm weather has allowed Moss extra time in the yard with the kids. Can you believe Moss is already 7 1/2 yrs old?? How old is that in dog years???
